The 2024 Hybrid Joint Workshop of the APMP Climate Change and Clean Air Focus Group(CCCCFG), and TCQM Gas Analysis Working Group was successfully hold in Zhengzhou, China

The hybrid joint workshop of the APMP Climate Change and Clean Air Focus Group (CCCCFG), and TCQM Gas Analysis Working Group was successfully held in Zhengzhou, China from July 22 to 24, 2024.

At this conference, scientists from metrology institutes from multiple countries and regions including Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Russia, India, Malaysia, and Indonesia etc. attended and reported their work achievements in climate change, greenhouse gas and pollutant measurement, and gas analysis. The conference also invited scientists from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the Bureau International des Poids et Measures (BIPM), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the United Kingdom, and the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt National Metrology Institute (PTB) in Germany to report and share their research results. After the workshop, they also visited the Zhengzhou Institute of  Metrology on site.

This workshop benefits all the parties to strengthen measurement capabilities and increase international partnerships to share approaches and best practices for accurate carbon emission measurement .
