Delivering a training course on “ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and Internal audit”
Dr. Mar Lar Win, Director from the National Institute of Metrology (Myanmar) delivered a training course titled “Training on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and Internal audit” to 30 officers from the Department of Traditional Medicine, Ministry of Health on November 29, 2024.
International Cooperation
1. Participating in “The 41st Meeting of the ACCSQ Working group on Legal Metrology (WG3)”
Dr. Mar Lar Win, Director of the Institute of Metrology (Myanmar), attended as a Chair person at “The 41st Meeting of the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ) Working group on Legal Metrology (WG3)” meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand in 19th to 20th October, 2024.

2. Attending the “The EV Charging Pile and Hydropower Measurement Training Program”
Ms. Swe Mar Kyaw, Assistant Director from the National Institute of Metrology (Myanmar), National Standards and Quality Department, Department of Research and Innovation, Ministry of Science and Technology, attended “The EV Charging Pile and Hydropower Measurement Training Program” held in Beijing, Changsha and Kunming Provinces, People’s Republic of China, from 2nd September to 27th September, 2024 under the “Lancang-Mekong Cooperation in Metrology Project 2024” as a representative of Myanmar.

3. Attending in “The Photovoltaic Measurement Training Program”
Mr. Kyaw Si Thu, Assistant Research Officer from the National Institute of Metrology (Myanmar), Department of Research and Innovation, National Standards and Quality Department, Ministry of Science and Technology, attended “The Photovoltaic Measurement Training Program” held in Beijing and Suzhou Provinces, People’s Republic of China, from 2nd September to 20th September, 2024 under the “Lancang-Mekong Cooperation in Metrology Project 2024” as a representative of Myanmar.
