2026 Joint Workshop of FG CCCA & GASC

The Focus Group on Climate Change & Clean Air (FG CCCA) and the Gas Analysis Sub-Committee (GASC) of TCQM will be holding their 2026 Joint Workshop from 18 to 20 August 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will be hosted by the National Institute of Metrology Thailand (NIMT) and held at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao.

This face-to-face workshop brings together experts and practitioners in metrology and measurement science to exchange knowledge and advance collaborative work across key areas including emission and pollution measurement and control, carbon footprint and carbon credit accounting, energy gas metrology, and particle metrology.

The three-day programme is designed to foster both open dialogue and focused working group discussions. Day 1 will feature presentations and discussions on the themes listed above, while the morning of Day 2 will be dedicated to closed-door working group sessions covering comparison reports and other business. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit a local gas company in the afternoon, offering a valuable look at industry practices on the ground. Day 3 will be held at NIMT and devoted to training, with topics tailored to the needs and interests of members based on a prior survey.
